Webasto is clear winner of ETM Award 2018
Readers of the German magazines ‘trans aktuell’, ‘lastauto omnibus’ and ‘FERNFAHRER’ chose Webasto as winner in the category “Air-Conditioning / Heating”.
EuroTransportMedia Verlags- und Veranstaltungs-GmbH, the transport publishing house in Stuttgart, in collaboration with DEKRA, the technical services organization, called on their expert readers to vote for their favorites in almost 30 different categories. Just under 13,000 readers rated the best brands among commercial vehicle manufacturers and suppliers according to factors such as quality, service, competitive pricing, and image.
In the category “Air-conditioning/Heating”, 69.7 percent of them voted for Webasto, the global leader in parking heaters. This is the thirteenth time they voted the Stockdorf-based company near Munich in first place. The gap to second place was over 30 percent.
The award ceremony took place in the Weisser Saal (White Hall) of the New Palace in Stuttgart on June 21, 2018. On behalf of Webasto, the prize was handed over to Bernd Joerg, Director Sales & Marketing Germany in the Webasto Thermo & Comfort division. “We are delighted to receive so many votes this year,” said Joerg. “We look upon the award as a sign of trust from our customers and as an incentive to continue our contribution toward increasing comfort in the cockpit and so more road safety through our heating and air-conditioning solutions.”
