Webasto, the worldwide operating automotive supplier, will present its high-quality charging solutions for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles at the first Power2Drive Europe trade fair in Munich. The company will be showing its charging stations with and without network capability from June 20 to 22, 2018 in Hall C1, Stand C1.610.

Future mobility is clean, sustainable – and electric: More and more drivers are switching to electric vehicles and filling up with electricity instead of fossil fuel. But conventional domestic power outlets are not designed for continuous charging at high charging capacity. The time needed is also much longer – especially for electric cars with larger batteries and longer ranges. Instead, efficient, time-saving and safe charging stations like those from Webasto are ideal for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles for both private and commercial use. Since these charging stations comply with all relevant standards and OEM standards, they also meet the highest quality and safety requirements.

Webasto presents charging solutions at Power2Drive

The entry-level charging station Pure charges with alternating current and is compatible with all electric cars with type-2 plugs, regardless of the vehicle manufacturer. Thanks to the attached cable it is simple and practical to operate. The charging power can be selected between 11 and 22 kW. Whether in garages, underground garages, carports or on parking lots – with Pure, the driver can charge the vehicle at any time and up to ten times faster than with a Schuko outlet. Ordering the Webasto charging station is quick and easy at www.webasto-charging.com.

Webasto also expects to offer a network-compatible charging station by the end of 2018 which can, for example, be controlled via app or networked with other IT systems. This makes other applications possible, like presetting the desired charging time or creating different user accounts on the same charging station.

Pre-check tests installation options
Apart from a high-quality charging station, customers of the Webasto systems supplier can also request a preliminary check and an individual cost estimate for installation from a local qualified electrician. Since no site is like the other, the specialist first checks the existing electrical connections, the distance to the fuse box, or the length of the required cable. The customer then receives detailed documentation and an individual cost estimate.
